“The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” and the Council of Europe

Date of accession:
"The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" became the 38th member State of the Council of Europe on 9 November 1995.

Committee of Ministers:
- Foreign Minister Antonio MILOSOSKI represents "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" in the Committee of Ministers.
- Eleonora PETROVA-MITEVSKA has been the Permanent Representative of "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" to the Council of Europe since May 2005.

Parliamentary Assembly:
"The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" is represented in the Parliamentary Assembly by a delegation of 3 representatives and 3 substitutes.
- Igor IVANOVSKI (SOC) is the head of the delegation.
- Oliver SAMBEVSKY is Parliamentary Assembly Vice-President.
- Ganka SAMOILOVSKA-CVETANOVA (EPP/CD) is the second Vice-Chairperson of the Committee on Rules of procedure and Immunities.

Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe:
"The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" is represented in the Congress by a delegation of 3 representatives and 3 substitutes.
